Really really getting down to the nitty gritty of it here.  :)  Just about everything we did was DIY, and I'm really really proud of how it is all turning out.  :)  So here's my brag post about where I am.  Warning - Seriously graphics intense!

I was thinking it would be neat for our lunchtime, lawn/board game reception, to include a themed scorecard with the invite (or, if I could come up with a good design, have it BE the invite). My invitations are finally done and are being sent out tomorrow. I'm so excited! They turned out exactly how I wanted them too. I designed them from start to finish and I love seeing how they turned out. ( reminder: they're Harry Potter invitations!! )

I was planning on making my invitations, but I didn't realize just how busy I'd be with school, and I don't want to end up late on them. Show me your (d.i.y. or otherwise) invites and where you got them/how you made them. Budget friendly is always best :)

So, I've been getting frustrated lately with having so much to do and no money yet to do anything with, so I decided to go to our ceremony location (a city park) and take some pictures of it. I think we might use some of them for invitations or other decorations somehow. Any way, it was fun, and I'd love to share them :D

When is it appropriate to start a wedding website? Is there such a thing as too soon? We are 495 days out from our August 11th 2012 wedding. Where is a good place to host one? I am pretty web savvy and could in theory design my own website but would prefer not to. I also need a place where people can RSVP since we're not having RSVP cards.

i was tooling around harvard square this afternoon, windowshopping and on the lookout for wedding goodies, when i saw that bob slate stationers is going out of business.  boo!  they aren't having a sale per se, but there are a lot of invitations, place cards, thank you notes, etc. that i'm guessing won't be around long.  their two stores will be ( Read more... )
